HOW RED-LIGHT THERAPY WORKS?

Red Light Therapy works by photobiomodulation a process where low-level red and near-infrared light penetrates the skin (1-2mm) to stimulate cellular activity. This exposure enhances mitochondrial function by improving electron transport, oxygen consumption and ATP (adenosine triphosphate) production, allowing cells to rejuvenate, repair and function more efficiently.

Red Light Therapy works by repetitively exposing your skin to low levels of red and near-infrared light for a certain period of time. At low wavelengths, red light doesn’t generate heat and penetrates the skin between 1 and 2 millimeters.

Example Usage:

• 0-3 inches from the skin for 5-7 minutes per session. (deep penetration)
• 6-12 inches away from skin for 15 minutes per session. (superficial tissue)
